I’m openly admitting I’ve not meant for there to be so many Raya and the Last Dragon posts here at Fatherhood: Reloaded, but I’m wanting to highlight some of the entertainment that parents and families are interested in. Raya and the Last Dragon, and frankly anything Disney falls into that category, and with the Super Bowl, we’re just double-dipping here I guess. (If you’re interested in other things, head over to Geekasms to check out The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Super Bowl spot).
Anyway, Disney dropped a new TV spot for Raya and the Last Dragon that aired during the Super Bowl. With the film hitting theaters and Disney+ next month, it makes sense.
If you’ve been keeping up with the film at all, you know what’s up by now, but just in case:
“Raya and the Last Dragon” takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.
On top of the new TV spot, to go along with the new poster recently released with the announcement of advance ticket sales going live, Disney has also released two additional posters for the film, which you can check out below.
